My own  continuous journey

Being born in Ukraine, during the break of the Soviet Union, has taught me resilience, scarcity and strength of the community.  The discipline of rhythmic gymnastics, ballet & dance brought hard work & joy into a daily routine.  Move to Canada at the age of 14, has introduced me to multiculturalism, freedom of asking challenging questions and expressing my thoughts.  Dance continued to be my passion, i started to compete professionally across Canada and US. While studying in York University Biochemistry & Genetics, wishing to become a researcher.  I also entered the world of fitness industry, becoming a fitness classes instructor.

My path has lead me to become a Clinical Researcher, working for multiple global pharmaceutical companies, moving  multiple countries, to explore different roles, expanding my horizons and growing as a professional.  

 

During the last 15 years numerous challenges, emotional turmoils and disappointments have occurred.  I struggled with psoriasis, and western medicine could not help me.  My dermatologist suggested to take up yoga classes,  to calm my over-reactive nervous system and learn how to relax.  It took me at least 8 classes to really get into yoga.   

Yoga has introduced a lot of self awareness and reflection into my life.  Self care and setting up healthy boundaries became my daily routine.  I become a Life & Nutritional coach in order to help myself to consciously choose a healthier way to reacting to stressors of life. 

Now I'm ready to share my humble experiences and knowledge with those who are ready to embark on a journey to a healthier life.
